About

I’m a research associate at Imperial College London, Department of Bioengineering, working with Prof. Dario Farina in Neuromechanics and Rehabilitation Technology group. I received my Ph.D. in Robotics Institute, Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2024, where I was advised by Prof. Xiangyang Zhu and Prof. Dario Farina. I obtained my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2018.

The goal of my research is to better simulate human biophysiological signals, especially the surface electromyogram signals during voluntary movements, for understanding the bio-systems and developing methods for information extraction. I work on both analytical models and deep latent generative models. I’m also interested in leveraging forward modelling to solve inverse problems.

Personal interests

I have great passions for badminton and tennis. Play AND watch! I have been to Rolex Shanghai Masters for four times. Hope that I can go to the four Grand Slam tournaments with my parents (They are both big tennis fans!).

Update : I’ve been to the French Open and the Wimbledon in 2022! Soooooo cool!!! Also been to the All England Badminton, the Wimbledon, and the US Open in 2023! Now looking forward to the All England and the Wimbledon in 2024, and the French Open if any chance :p
